I liked the overall ambiance and location of the hotel. It was a bit pricy but overall a good experience.

Located in the fishing village of Patreksfjördur with panoramic views of the fjord, this guesthouse has free WiFi and a guest kitchen.

Guesthouse Stekkaból’s rooms have a modern and neutral décor and bathroom facilities are shared.

Excellent Guesthouse. The place at the time of our stay was managed by two French guys who did a very good job :) We were in a stylish looking room behind the reception, sharing a wonderfully renovated bathroom with another couple. The room was large and clean, the beds were very comfortable and we slept absolutely fantastic in them! This guesthouse has a very homely feel. The communal area is very nicely decorated and cosy; you can snuggle up on a sofa with a book or enjoy the view from a rocking chair: the house boasts great views of Patreksfjordur, which in itself is a nice little town easily discoverable on foot. We could enjoy cookies, coffee, tea; and we had access to the kitchen for cooking. The breakfast was great, with locally smoked salmon and lovely waffles. We truely enjoyed our stay and deeply regretted not being able to stay more than one night!

Overall the cabins are nice and pleasant. The are secluded from eachother within shrubs separated by clearly marked pathways which is nice. There was alot of space for a family of 4. The cabin kitchen was stocked decently and had basic amenities for cooking. The beds were comfortable and clean. The hot tub was also a nice perk that we enjoyed. The host was quick to respond to give us the key code when we arrived.
