Great remote location. Also a perfect base to explore western iceland and/or Reykholt area.
We really enjoyed our stay, but I wouldn't stay here for more than a few days here for the reasons below.

The bungalows are great! Quiet location. Comfortable beds and equipped with everything you need. The hot tub and sauna are nice. We could see the northern lights from our window, what more could you ask for? Good base to explore the area (you need a car). Very good breakfast with nice views from the restaurant. Make sure you ask the staff at reception to call you if there are northern lights sightings.

A small gem for anyone who needs a base to visit Snaefellsnes Peninsula or the Golden Circle. The property is a separate house located on the farm. It has a parking spot, naturally heated floors, 2 bedrooms and a living room. Very spacious for 4 people. We loved the hot tub, which Eirikur thoughtfully prepared for us so that it was ready upon arrival, and we and the kids loved selecting a few tomatoes and cucumbers for our dinner (the cherry tomatoes are absolutely delicious). Eirikur even graciously offered to pull a cable from his shed so that we could charge our car!
There is even a tiny tiny hotspring right next to the property!

This was the nicest hotel during our stay, still with great potential for improvements as it only opened in May. Dinner buffet with two kinds of soup, bread and different cakes.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The location of this horse farm was absolutely amazing! It was quiet, friendly atmosphere between us and the other guests, it had more like a "family vibe". :-) The bonus is, that in this one and only accomodation we've seen the aurora lights because of the location. :-) Everything was nice and clean, fully equipped kitchen, I really recommend this accomodation.
This cozy little guesthouse is surrounded by horse fields, and it was a lot of fun to watch young horses playing. The building itself is a part of a farm and it feels like the guesthouse is built from old stables which was a fun experience :) The beds are comfortable, also we had a private bathroom which was simple but nice. The "Social area" in this guesthouse is super-cozy with comfy sofas, a heater and a perfectly working guitar. There is also a nice terrace with BBQ, but it was snowing so we couldn't enjoy it.
Very comfortable beds, modern room. Everything was clean. Nice breakfast, friendly staff. Cozy atmosphere. We could visit the horses in the stables which was great! (We didn't have time for a ride but it looked very fun!)
