Situated in front of the mountains, this country cottage is the dream home for travellers.
Everything in the house is in pristine condition, tastefully designed, and every conceivable details taken care. It feels so cosy and homely.
Comfortable room and soft bed, smart TV so new and provided relaxing music in the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with new cooking utensils for us to cook up a great meal.
The Aurora came with full glory at night, making our stay even more unforgettable.

The guesthouse has a self-service check-in and out and it was very convenient. The room was small, like most rooms in Iceland, was heated and they provided us towels and sheets. We shared the bathroom with other guests but they were nice and we didn’t have any problem. The bathroom was quite big.
We stayed there one night and overall it was a nice experience. From the window of our room we were able to see the northern lights!

The room was clean and spacious and the communal kitchen was also well kept. Parking was very easy right next to the entrance to our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed in a room with a private bathroom and shower and it was very convenient. The room was nothing fancy, but the beds were very comfortable and the radiator was easy to manage for temperature as we like to sleep cool rather than hot and that was easily done for our stay in October. There is a short walkway right along the harbor right outside the hotel. The room was basic but worked perfectly for what we needed for our family stay of three adults!

The apartment is spatious and very functional. A lot of kitchenwear, incl a good coffee machine, CDs, books, etc. The deck on the ocean is beautiful, at high tide we were regularly visited by a couole of Grey seals, but it was a nice spot to look at birds (Eiders with chicks, Artic terns, various gulls incl glaucous, redshank, starling, etc etc). The position is great to visit the central/western part of the peninsula.

Spacious and clean rooms with a nice view over Olafsvik. We stayed two nights and the second night all beds were booked. but due to spacious and well equipped kitchen and additional living room there was enough room for all. Coffee (Philips Senseo) tea, sugar, spices are provided which makes life a whole lot easier. Thanks for a nice stay for a reasonable price.

Not much in the area so it was a good spot to see this peninsula. Room had good views.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
We stayed at this establishment for one night with a group of 11 people. Since that time, we returned 3 times :)

Incredible location, wonderful thoughtfully decorated property with great facilities. This house was everything we'd hoped for and more!
The details of the place made the stay so comfortable, from providing dishwasher tablets and coffee pods, to having Disney/ Netflix to having the fairy lights and heating turned on for arrival.
Our kids (8 and 10) absolutely loved playing in the snow outside and we all loved the seeing the northern lights in such a stunning setting.
Great place to explore Snaefellsnes peninsula, good location to make trips. Cozy atmosphere. Well equiped kitchen, including coffee machine with coffee capsules, tea and everything you need for cooking. We were there 2 families and didn't miss anything.
This adorable blue cottage was very large, beautiful decorated and very comfortable, set up with all required amenities. Our family had a great time and would love to stay again!
We arrived at location and were happy about the space and felt right at home. We slept well and would have liked to stay longer. The apartment is big and suites larger groups and families.
Amazing location with unmatched views to the sea and famous Snaefellsjokkul glacier, near Ytri beach with funny seals. Home equipped as much as it could be and furnished with taste and love. Really feels like home, peaceful and calm. Ambience is great as well.
