Located in the fishing village of Patreksfjördur with panoramic views of the fjord, this guesthouse has free WiFi and a guest kitchen.

Guesthouse Stekkaból’s rooms have a modern and neutral décor and bathroom facilities are shared.

Excellent Guesthouse. The place at the time of our stay was managed by two French guys who did a very good job :) We were in a stylish looking room behind the reception, sharing a wonderfully renovated bathroom with another couple. The room was large and clean, the beds were very comfortable and we slept absolutely fantastic in them! This guesthouse has a very homely feel. The communal area is very nicely decorated and cosy; you can snuggle up on a sofa with a book or enjoy the view from a rocking chair: the house boasts great views of Patreksfjordur, which in itself is a nice little town easily discoverable on foot. We could enjoy cookies, coffee, tea; and we had access to the kitchen for cooking. The breakfast was great, with locally smoked salmon and lovely waffles. We truely enjoyed our stay and deeply regretted not being able to stay more than one night!

Boasting mountain views, Dixon Cabin nr. 7 / Dixon sumarhús nr. 7 @Kirkjubraut offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 4.5 km from Pollurinn. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available.

I liked the overall ambiance and location of the hotel. It was a bit pricy but overall a good experience.

Upon arrival, I was notified that my booking of a single room had been upgraded to a double beds room, which was a fun surprise and made for a roomier stay. The window overlooking the fjord was a nice bonus; I attached two photos to this review that show off the view.

Gunnþórunn is so kind and helpful. We had to book last minute as our travels got more eventful and she was super at coming to the rescue. The family put so much care and work into making the house beautiful and cosy. Hard to leave though. Thank you so very much!

The well equipped kitchen and the friendly owner and the family. It is a small town but we can get all the essentials easily from the store nearby. A great location too.

Breakfast was excellent, staff was very friendly with good recommendations for dinner. Nice "family-atmosphere". Location in the middle of a small town, restaurant in foot-walking distance.

As soon that I enter the staff take immediately care of me. My room had an amazing view of the fjord. The backyard of the guesthouse is extremely relaxing and give you a nice view of the mountain and the fjord. The breakfast was great. What else to say? I will recommend the guesthouse for all the travellers; single, couple, family; It doesn’t really matter, you will have a Fantastic experience anyway. Thanks again to the staff! Good work
