We loved this apartment, it was more like a house with its two floors. Especially considering how tiny places are in Iceland & it was good value. Spacious, comfortable, quiet, very nicely furnished & well equipped (though a microwave would have been good). Good view over the village & mountains. We didn’t meet the owner but the notes were fine

Beautiful place, really cool & the staff were so friendly and helpful.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Huge communal living area with well equipped kitchen and separate area set up with puzzles etc.
Comfortable beds. Very quiet. Fun to see the baby arctic fox which had been rescued.
This hotel is essentially a working farm. Horses, sheeps and lambs are the primary products. The highlight of this establishment is the friendliness of the staff. Having breakfast in the morning was like eating in your own kitchen and having quiet conversations with friends and family. They also provided guidance to find the local puffin population.
Standard Icelandinc wood floors and cleanliness.
The room was very clean, quiet and cozy. The owner was very kind, pacient and helpful with me and my family. The breakfast is complete and has a few options to drink and eat.
