Location location location! It's about 10min drive from the nearest Hofn town, located on the farm. You have the view over the fields with grazing horses and we counted 4 glaciers. Very peaceful and idyllic. Can get windy though. Check-in and check-out was easy as the owners live on the property. Cabin is small but has everything one needs. Even the grill.

Every single thing in this lovely house. It was warm, cozy and fabulous. This house has everything we need. We could do laundry, cook and take some rest on the couch. The room was big enough to put our big suitcase and bed was comfy as 5 stars hotel. We decided to stay one more night right after we stepped in here. Host was kind and considerate. Also they give lots of information for travelers. Highly recommend to stay here.

Super friendly host who answered all my questions super quickly (the road was closed due to a sandstorm and we thought we might be stuck for one more night, which we weren’t in the end because the road opened again), the room is small but perfect and it feels like being all alone in the middle of nowhere even though there’s neighboring cottages. We loved it and would come back any time.
