All rooms at Hotel Smyrlabjörg feature country house-style décor. Some rooms have views of the Atlantic Ocean, while others overlook the mountains.

Room is clean and roomy. Shower is hot and strong. Excellent free breakfast. Free coffee all day. Easy check in. Just drop the key in a basket at the front desk when check out. Big parking lot in the front and at the back. Came back after 10 years it didn't disappoint us.

    Nice space for a family of four. For four adults I think it would be cramped. Kitchen is good, shower also. Hotel in 10 mins drive for breakfast/dinner. Reasonable price. Very beautiful surroundings.

    Great location on the south coast. Kitchen was well equipped, two bathrooms for 4 rooms, plus a common space to hang out upstairs, everything was perfect! Clean room and comfortable bed, enough space for the two of us and our baby. They had cute dogs there, too :)

    Excellent room, perfect size for family of four with 2 teens and bathroom was very clean and perfect for our needs. Staff welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast provided.

    Super cheap stay----great for a night or two if you're in the south/southeast, especially if you just need a pitstop when vistiting Jokulsarlon or Hofn. The family running it is nice and easy to talk to. The shared space is small but sufficient. The surrounding farm is also beautiful.
