Location of the property is the best thing. Room was comfortable. But basic facilities like kettle and fridge were unavailable in the room. I loved the ginger tea.

Thjere is no facility in the name of Bhagicha Residency at Matheran. No body could tell us as to where it is located. Ulrimately we could find Baghicha cottage which has only two rooms. There is no proper approach as we had to wade through dirty and warwe filled passage. As advertised we were not provided with fresh linen, towel, toiletery. We weee not given bill even after we asked for it. I will tell my friends and acquitances not to venture into this .

Property is huge, rooms are clean and big.
We went during monsoon , breath taking view.
Food arrangements are good, local hotel is available to get timely food.
We enjoyed the river nearby.
Additionally, they had a good power backup in case of power failure.
Kitchen is fully functional. From plates to fridge everything is available right away.
One suggestion: the road to villa is difficult to find, better to call caretaker 10 min before reaching the location.
We even experienced Fireflies during our stay :)
We were accompanied by 2-3 friendly dogs as well which made us feel safe 😇
