We had a lovely stay at Thankgop House with Mrs. Dolma and her son. They were both very helpful, kind, and welcoming. They always made sure we knew what we were doing, and took the time to speak with us whenever we had questions. Thangkop House is a 10min walk from the main city market, which is great as we could get away from the hustle and bustle when we wanted to. We stayed in a wonderful room on the top floor with lots of windows overlooking trees. Thank you Dolma and Wang!

We had a great stay with our family and we fully recommend when you are looking for a peaceful place in Leh. In walking distance (15-20 min) outside the busy streets.
The owner and his family are wonderful people, welcoming and warm, they always made us feel very comfortable. The rooms are spacious and proper and the whole property is zen and beautyful. It was always great to come home after a trek or just a day in Leh.

Amazing guest house with a lovely couple running it! Excellent location with a 5/10 minute walk to the main market. They went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even made my partner food when he was unwell. Really recommend as a comfortable and hospitable place to stay in Leh!

We traveled from Delhi to Manali to Leh in a self driven car. Awesome and comfortable stay with family. My Kid of 5 years enjoyed it a lot. The food is exceptional. Aunty cooks delicious food. The veg pakoda is awesome in taste.
