Thomas and his wife, Theresa, were delightful! Thomas came to collect us from the airport where our driver arranged to meet him.
We booked an overnight at their HomeStay so we could be close to the airport.
We absolutely loved their beautiful house next door to a rice paddy and surrounded by tropical plants and fruit trees.
Our bedroom was spacious and very comfortable. We could relax on a lovely balcony surrounded by nature, sipping on delicious fresh juice.
We were served a home cooked meal of chicken, flavoured rice, and aromatic cauliflower finished with fresh pineapple cuts. Dinner is available at a small extra charge.
I expressed a desire to have a proper tea strainer like they use in Kerala for making authentic Chai. Great was my surprise this morning when I was presented with my very own tea strainer, which Thomas went out to buy for me the previous night!!
Thomas also drove us back to the airport at 7am for our flight to Sri Lanka.
We will definitely recommend this wonderful house stay to all our friends who would like to come and explore Kerala.
It certainly made an already perfect holiday in the South of India even more unforgettable!

Staff was very flexible to help us with breakfirst before 7am or diner after 10pm!
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
First of all, 5 out of 5 for their services. Food was also equally good.
In the midst of a hectic function, they took good care of us. They were courteous enough to apologize regarding the delay in serving the dinner.
Would definitely go there once again.
And to watch Periyar flowing at its full swing was like icing on the Cake. Check out the property, it’s worth your time and money.
