Fantastic experience & perhaps the best example for what a home stay is all about.
We were at Amaya for 3 days and 2 nights.
Since it was a family trip, we aimed at relaxation. Beautiful heritage property, which is beyond 250 years old. It was neatly maintained with the perfect amalgamation of timeless and modern architecture.
The staff were the most courteous people I have come across, especially Shinoj, Kavya, Lakshmi, and chechi. Our host, Shinoj, was extremely nice and friendly, going the extra mile to host our group and recommend us the best restaurants and attractions around.
We were served with the most scrumptious and delicious kerala food. Special thanks to chechi and her team for serving us with exceptional food.
We celebrated my husbands birthday party, and the whole team led by Shinoj helped me plan the perfect party with snacks at the most beautiful location at the property.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay thanks to the hospitality and lovely people. We would love to visit again and would highly recommend this place to my other family members as well as friends!

The stay at Kannur Westbeach Homestay was very, very nice. The house is located in a very quiet place, the way to the beautiful beach past small backwaters is only short. The room is large and beautiful, the bathroom very clean

It’s bang on the beach!! Won’t be able to access the beach in the monsoons as the waves are very high and the shore is covered. The beach is just less than 50 m and is accessible. The food was great and the service was too good. They had everything we had asked for. The view from the Room is just absolutely stunning. Definitely recommend for your next stay.

The Bodhi beach house is right opposite Kizhunna beach...one of the cleanest beaches in India. Its homely, secluded and an amazing place to spend few days with family, friends or all by yourself and connect with nature. Mr. Sushil Das has put in lots of effort to give this place a beautiful and calm vibes. His efforts need to be commended as it's helping the neighbors too who assist in preparation of homely food for tourist which is heavenly. I had a great two days staying there and biking around Kannurs famous temples.
We had a lovely stay at Monsoon Apartments. The place is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities. The owners are very hospitable and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. We were also lucky enough to taste some delicious traditional food cooked by Reema. Our kids too had a lovely time playing in the garden outdoors. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, peaceful and well looked after stay!

Place is amazing. Rooms are clean and neat. Loved the food especially lunch. Swimming pool is maintained very well. My kid loved there. Great place to stay as a family. Beach is one minute walkable distance. Felt like private beach. Staffs are very good. Overall we enjoyed staying there. Value for money.
Great location, great host, many helpful tips. You can just wake up and walk on the beach or go for streetfood in the evening.
Also the breakfast has a great local variety e.g. puri and appam.
For our family it was a cute little homestay to hang out and the beach with a sandbank is great for children to play with the waves.
This place is "home away from home". Host Murali is with you for any support required.
Location: 200 mts away from the main road. Excellent country side and you can feel the nature and culture. There's a beautiful temple nearby.
Service: No words to describe the hospitality received. Authentic homely food is being served.
