Good location close to the airport (although I didn't use it for that purpose). I was surprised by the cleanliness of the entire hotel. The restaurant serves good food. It was clean and I was particularly impressed by their use of the EFK (Electric Fly Killer) unit. The room was a bit small, but well maintained. The staff were friendly. We had a peaceful and pleasant stay.

Staying at The Choice Beach House was the best 'choice' I made for my Kannur trip! ! Mr Ibrahim, the owner, was helpful all the way from arranging my rather late check-in to guiding my driver from the airport to the homestay as well as personally meeting me to make sure everything was in order. The room was well proportioned for a solo traveller and had all the amenities such as adequate storage space, hot water, air-conditioning and clean bed linen. Ms Shabana and young Rahul are the epitome of hospitality, going out of their way to make me feel at home and attentively catering to my zero-spice diet. The homestay is in a quiet street literally a stone's throw from the beach and within easy walking distance (for me at least) to the Light House and other nearby tourist attractions. I highly recommend this homestay!

The bfast was bad, previous day's lunch was better than any other meal we had at this place. Somehow the dinner, tea snacks we ordered and morning bfast - all were either bland or watery. They had served some of these during lunch and it was not bad so it seems later they didn't care much! Rooms have steep staircases, not ideal for elderly. Washroom have a low roof and overall height is 6 ft max. If they renovated the washrooms this would still be okay.

I don't like anything, I booked two bedrooms, but I went to check in alone, and my friends came to make my room so I didn't have to go up and have to move to a hotel.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The host was really good, attentive and suggested us places to visit which turned out to be perfect for us to have fun. He was willing to support in any way if we required.
The property is very neat and clean. The owner of the property is very cooperative. Will recommend for stay with family. The order for food if required to be given in advance.
The Bodhi beach house is right opposite Kizhunna beach...one of the cleanest beaches in India. Its homely, secluded and an amazing place to spend few days with family, friends or all by yourself and connect with nature. Mr. Sushil Das has put in lots of effort to give this place a beautiful and calm vibes. His efforts need to be commended as it's helping the neighbors too who assist in preparation of homely food for tourist which is heavenly. I had a great two days staying there and biking around Kannurs famous temples.
We had a lovely stay at Monsoon Apartments. The place is spotlessly clean and has all the amenities. The owners are very hospitable and go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable. We were also lucky enough to taste some delicious traditional food cooked by Reema. Our kids too had a lovely time playing in the garden outdoors. Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, peaceful and well looked after stay!
Room was exactly as described and the Location is excellent. Staff was extremely friendly.overall we had a good family time would surely visit again when in Kannur
Place is amazing. Rooms are clean and neat. Loved the food especially lunch. Swimming pool is maintained very well. My kid loved there. Great place to stay as a family. Beach is one minute walkable distance. Felt like private beach. Staffs are very good. Overall we enjoyed staying there. Value for money.
Great location, great host, many helpful tips. You can just wake up and walk on the beach or go for streetfood in the evening.
Also the breakfast has a great local variety e.g. puri and appam.
For our family it was a cute little homestay to hang out and the beach with a sandbank is great for children to play with the waves.
This place is "home away from home". Host Murali is with you for any support required.
Location: 200 mts away from the main road. Excellent country side and you can feel the nature and culture. There's a beautiful temple nearby.
Service: No words to describe the hospitality received. Authentic homely food is being served.
Clean and asthetic home. Very good for families and friends to spend time. At this price, the place is a boon.
