I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dreamyard Hostel in Udaipur, and it was truly the best hostel experience I've ever had. The stunning lake view from the property is breathtaking and adds a magical touch to the stay. The food was exceptional—delicious and diverse, catering to various tastes.
What truly sets Dreamyard apart is the amazing staff. They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make my stay enjoyable. Their hospitality made me feel right at home.
I highly recommend Dreamyard Hostel to anyone visiting Udaipur. It’s a perfect blend of comfort, beauty, and warmth. I can’t wait to return!

Very nice staff and good location. Loca, one of the staff guys, was always available for any need or question we had.
Having the rooftop for breakfast is a plus.
You can do heena here. We did it on the hand and we are all super satisfied with the result (the girl just invents at the moment what to draw and makes original things).

What a pleasant surprise. This little hotel is beautifully appointed. The room was huge, the bed supremely comfortable, the linen just right. The whole hotel is decorated with a fine eye.
Let me tell you, in the heat of Rajasthan, the fact that there was a swimming pool meant that we could go around on foot exploring the local area and then we could cool off in the pool.
The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. It was a little oasis in the heart of Udaipur.

Charming, clean and beautifully furnished guest house located in the heart of Udaipur’s old town. Family owned and run for several generations, the staff were welcoming, accommodating and spoke excellent English - they gave us all the best tips for the surrounding area, all in walkable distance! The breakfast was included and we paid extra for dinner, which was really good value and both were exceptional! We were in a deluxe superior room and the glass detail on all the little windows was magical - we will miss waking up to the beautiful light it gave off. The little garden guest house was perfect and suited our every need - we would definitely come again! And highly recommend to anyone.
Previously owned by the Maharaj of Madri and restored to its current state, Madri Haveli features elegant rooms with stained glass windows. The area around it is conserved for tourist heritage walk.
