The staff and host ensured that we were taken care of beautifully by paying attention to our needs and meeting it as was possible. The food on offer, be it breakfast, lunch or dinner was very tasty with good variety. The snacks on offer too were good and tasty. Kudos to Ms. Yashaswini and her team - we had a beautiful experience. The place itself is in the midst of a coffee estate, the location serene and away from the hustle-bustle of the very busy Chikmagalur town. The private waterfalls in the estate was a "cute" getaway. It was not a very heavy flow (yet) nor was it inadequate. It was nice to sit under and enjoy the force of nature massaging you while you meditate. Overall, very nice experience.

Upon arriving at the homestay, Mr. Ravikumar greeted us warmly with his kind-hearted wife by his side. His first words were "my home, you stay" which set the tone for our delightful stay. Throughout our time there, he was exceptionally caring and always had a smile on his face. One of the highlights was the enchanting trek to Gaaligudda peak, just a short jeep ride followed by a scenic walk. This experience is a definite must for anyone visiting Kalasa.

Dinner and breakfast was awesome Malenadu specialties. We really liked having delicious homemade breakfast, coffee amidst the beautiful surroundings. Owner of the property also interacted with us and enquired if everything was fine. Staff was courteous and helpful. Bathroom was clean. The best thing we liked about this property is it's beautiful surroundings, the forest trail, which is within their premises. We went for a walk in the jungle and enjoyed every bit of it. There are all sorts of trees and plants, lots of jackfruit trees, and birds chirping. It is a safe jungle walk which we thoroughly enjoyed. We also bought pepper, coffee powder (grown there) and masala packets from them. Overall, we had a memorable and superb experience at Guddadamane!
