The staff was very friendly, our room was great and the breakfast was amazing! The property is a bit out of the way, so we stocked up on things to eat for dinner before arriving. We had a lovely view of the grazing sheep on green hills. Very idyllic.

Big huge room and a very comfy bed awaits at the Hylands. The staff are very professional and absolutely lovely! The breakfast was wonderful and the dinner on offer was even better. Nice wine by the glass was a plus. The view of the Burren in the morning out my window was lovely to wake up to.

My sister and I spent a week touring around Ireland and this was by far our favorite stay. The room was huge and more like a quality hotel room than a B&B stay, it had fantastic views and is right in the center of the Burren with lovely country and seaside walks nearby. The views were magnificent. The staff and host were lovely and they went above and beyond to be accommodating even though we caught them during a tricky time due to family emergency. They packed my (delicious) breakfast when we had to leave early to catch the bus. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer and didn't have a car to tour around the area with. They seemed to have some fairly accessible rooms that are ground floor and had shower bar/hand grip, etc.. Would highly recommend this to anyone driving through Ballyvaughan or wanting an excellent seaside town or country stay.
