Highest recommendations for the Torc Hotel and its wonderful staff. The location (Killarney) is an excellent launching pad for tourists, such as myself, who enjoy trekking throughout the southwestern Kerry and Cork peninsulas (Dingle- 25 min to Castlemaine; Iveragh- 30 min to Kenmare; Beara- 30 min to Knockduragh; as well as Sheep’s Head and Mizen Head- 2 hours to each point) but do not want to have to unpack and repack to move to a new location everyday. It offers ample, free parking and is just outside of the busy town center, which is a plus for me as it provides a quiet retreat. The hotel has full breakfast service for its guests and serves meals 7 days per week, even off-season. This latter is especially convenient as during off-season, it can be very difficult to find an open restaurant in the aforementioned areas. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Generous pours on beverages. The hotel is very quaint (still uses actual keys for their rooms) but the rooms have been updated with modern bathrooms and fixtures (everything is shiny and clean). The beds are luxurious (very comfortable mattresses and comforters). The wait staff (both breakfast and restaurant/bar detail) are super friendly and attentive. I’ve been a B&B-er guest in Ireland for many years, but for the above reasons, I think I’ve found a home away from home with the Torc Hotel. I will definitely be back every year!

With activities for all ages, Hotel Killarney has kids and teens clubs, mini-golf and both indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Our Club Vitae Leisure Club boast an indoor pool, steam room, sauna, hot tub, sports hall and a modern gym.

We loved the many activities for kids. There was an arcade, a large indoor playroom, a swimming pool, an outdoor playground, and outdoor mini golf. The breakfast buffet was delicious and within great hours. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful, the location was great (adjacent to a supermarket, gas station, and fast food restaurant) and within walking distance to the town with my seven-year-old.

A recently renovated apartment situated in Tullaha, Dunard house. Features a garden. Guests can benefit from a patio and an outdoor fireplace. The apartment also features free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests.

Nora & Ger were great hosts. House well suited for 10 persons. Lots of space, clean, lots of kitchens, bedrooms and very clean. Wifi & Parking were very good. Would recommend this property and hosts for any group. You won't be disappointed. Thanks for making the weekend so easy for our group.

What a lovely place! The B&B is off the charts, run by a brilliant hostess, it’s not just a place you’ll easily be able to fall in love with. It’s a wonderful experience and the hospitality extended toward guests is amazing. A typical Irish experience - kindness, hospitality and a lovely place.
