Highest recommendations for the Torc Hotel and its wonderful staff. The location (Killarney) is an excellent launching pad for tourists, such as myself, who enjoy trekking throughout the southwestern Kerry and Cork peninsulas (Dingle- 25 min to Castlemaine; Iveragh- 30 min to Kenmare; Beara- 30 min to Knockduragh; as well as Sheep’s Head and Mizen Head- 2 hours to each point) but do not want to have to unpack and repack to move to a new location everyday. It offers ample, free parking and is just outside of the busy town center, which is a plus for me as it provides a quiet retreat. The hotel has full breakfast service for its guests and serves meals 7 days per week, even off-season. This latter is especially convenient as during off-season, it can be very difficult to find an open restaurant in the aforementioned areas. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Generous pours on beverages. The hotel is very quaint (still uses actual keys for their rooms) but the rooms have been updated with modern bathrooms and fixtures (everything is shiny and clean). The beds are luxurious (very comfortable mattresses and comforters). The wait staff (both breakfast and restaurant/bar detail) are super friendly and attentive. I’ve been a B&B-er guest in Ireland for many years, but for the above reasons, I think I’ve found a home away from home with the Torc Hotel. I will definitely be back every year!

Situated 20 minutes’ walk away from Killarney town centre, Rybrook House offers easy access to recreational activities such as fishing, mountain climbing, horse riding, and golf. Guests can avail of babysitting service and free parking.

Mary and Michaels bnb was like a home away from home. always greeted with a friendly smile and chat. my room was very clean and warm. bathroom was spotless. a lot of storage for clothes etc. breakfast was lovely. location is nice and quiet also a five minute walk from supervalu.

The Flesk Restaurant offers fine dining and has views of the Flesk Valley. The Mill Bar has a lunchtime carvery and the Mill Restaurant has an evening menu. The orangeries at the front of the property offer a scenic setting and functions, events and conferences can be catered for.

The best part about our stay at the hotel was the fun entertainment at night. It was so nice to sit in the bar area with a Guinness and enjoy the music. It made for a fun night's stay. The morning breakfast was yummy, and we enjoyed speaking with the staff, but the musicians are what we remember most about this stay.

This place was the perfect spot to spend the night with my wife for her birthday. Before our arrival I asked the owner if they could do something special within a fixed budget, and they didn't even hesitate to put a bottle of champagne in an ice bucket and some really nice chocolates in the room as a birthday surprise. Perfect start of our stay there, will definitely pass by again.

Crystal Springs has a quiet countryside setting and some of its bedrooms overlook the river and garden.
