We loved staying with Ger and Mary!! They were so welcoming and lovely! The garden was beautiful, the breakfast was delicious and you could taste that it was high quality food. The rooms were cosy and super clean! From there is was really close going to Kilkenny. We would love to come back and stay a whole week!! Can’t wait to taste Mary’s marmelade at home which we bought during our stay.

beautiful property a short distance from Kilkenny. we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary beer and wine (learn to pour your own Guinness was a huge bonus) plus the hot tub after a long day traveling! and a stocked refrigerator! who can ask for more.

The hotel has private parking, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and check in was very smooth. We had three in our room; parents and one teenager. We were very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and served at your table by very professional staff. The room was amazing with a spectacular view of the perfectly groomed garden and Kilkenny Castle. The location made it easy to see all of the main sites within the townsite and is close to many great pubs and restaurants. A river walk is minutes away and there are plenty of quality shops. Highly recommend fish and chips at Matt the Millar's, just down the hill.
