It was a lovely spot - a rural area near a town - but it was also very handy to see areas around Dublin. There was a back road to Blessington and Glendalough. It was close to the M7/8. On the second evening I was driving back from Greystones and was able to avoid heavy traffic on the M50 system by shifting to the M11 and using that back road to get to the property. It was very comfortable room, nice facilities and excellent breakfasts. The owner was very nice.

Super breakfast and lovely staff
Vegetarian so a suitable breakfast was an option
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The barge is well equipped and good layout with enough space for a family of four. The kitchen is a good size as is the dining/sitting area. The beds were very comfortable.
The village of Sallins is a good location for other larger towns like Naas and Newbridge and Sallins itself has v good train links
The new Greenway is a fun way to get out and about on bikes and see the local countryside

The apartment was centrally located near the train station , and the grocery store was within walking distance. The apartment was very cosy , quiet, spacious, and lots of lights. Everything in the apartment was functioning well.
I loved the balcony.
I would highly recommend it.
Róisín Dubh is well presented and has everything needed and is quirky and fun. Location worked very well for my purposes and being on a barge made it into a fun experience different to regular accommodation despite being January - the stove and heating system work very well.
Clara lodge lived up to what was described and shown in pictures. Host was very friendly and helpful. Accommodation was clean and very modern and living space was more than what was required. Would happily stay again or recommend to others.
Spotlessly clean, very moderate and up to date, lovely and quiet, excellent location with the canal on the doorstep, a choice of lovely pubs serving the best food, local cafe, pizza and Chinese takeaways, children’s park, brilliant location for the Curragh and Naas horse racing and easy drive into Dublin City
