Loved the location! Right near Hidden Valley campground, Britta’s Bay, and Glendalough. Perfect place for a family as the upstairs twin beds and double bed is perfect for kids and the downstairs room is perfect for parent’s rest.
Play ground on property! Lovely place can’t recommend it enough!
Location near Glendalough and the major tourist area.
Room size for 3 was spot on. Beds very comfortable and super clean.
Homemade breakfast by Daphne very tasty and she was so nice cooking pancakes for our baby.
The B&B has a lounge area with fireplace and all the comforts to relax.
Overall very cosy and family friendly.
I really enjoyed the experience it gave my 2 teenage kids on how to live with no luxuries. They had to go get the water and sticks which was very alien to them.
We throughly enjoyed the time spend together as a family playing cards without the distraction of phones.
Ideal location for local attractions. 15 mins max driving to Glendalough
The whole place was very comfortable and the host very nice.
The whole flavour is mountain cabin like, very enjoyable.
Would definitely recommend for as family vacation.
Stayed for one night with my 2 children. Beautiful and comfy stay and very close to Rathdrum and Avondale. Kids were able to play in the garden and had a wide selection of foods for breakfast. First time staying at a b&b and was delighted at our choice. Ann made us feel very welcome.
Everything. The caravan, the possibility to sit by the fire in the evening, ponies and donkeys and lovely forest walk.
I think access to hot water 24hr is a huge plus! Especially after walk in the rain 😅
Network coverage was also great - I was surprised we were having 5g there!
Kids (10 and 5) loved it - they could run free with other children whole day. And they really, really loved it!
Very relaxing. Caravan really well kitted out for cooking, dining, washing up! Lovely to go see the horses and donkeys. Kids and parents really enjoyed it. Fun to stay in the horse caravan.
