On the tip of the Beara Peninsula, Seaview Guesthouse is set in the quiet, charming village of Allihies. It serves hearty, full Irish breakfasts and warmly furnished rooms with scenic views.

With light decor and views of the mountains and surrounding countryside, the rooms offer a private bathroom with complimentary toiletries. Rooms also feature a TV, tea/coffee facilities, and a hairdryer.

The Host, Mary and family are genuinely good kind people who make you feel welcome and ensure you have a pleasant and comfortable stay. The room was beautiful, clean and the bed mattress wonderfully comfortable. After a long exhausting drive, I had the best nights sleep in years. The breakfast is amazing, with an excellent selection of cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, homage scones, bread and a full breakfast menu including a generous Traditional Irish Breakfast. So far, my best experience in Ireland 💕

The views were amazing. From the patio or looking out any of the windows there were stunning views. The house was very spacious and well equipped and the shower in the en suite was fantastic! We took the walking route just up from the house which was lovely and even went blackberry picking along the road and made a crumble which the kids really enjoyed. Its a fantastic base for exploring the area, we went sea kayaking with the seals in Adrigole and spent a gorgeous day on the beach in Garinish.

What can I say - our family decided to staycation this year and visit the wild Atlantic way. Seaview guesthouse was recommended in a blog and to say it was outstanding is an understatement. From the moment we were greeted by Mary on arrival until she waved us off the next morning, our stay was exceptional. We have stayed in multiple 4/5 star hotels across the world, and the Seaview was up there for cleanliness, room size and all the extras. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to explore the real Ireland on the Atlantic way.

This is definitely a hidden gem. We had an upstairs room with a view of the Atlantic and Skelligs in the distance. able to watch the beautiful sunset. This alone was worth the price. Very comfortable double beds in a massive room with plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 kids. Great pressure on the shower - we had to prize my youngest out after 20 mins. Mary and her daughter were so hospitable and welcoming we were really sorry to leave. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. A great choice.
