it was my brothers funeral monday.
3 of us stayed in room 102 on sunday and monday. we had a meal after my brothers funeral at the hotel too.
compliments to the chef sean and his team. everything from arrival to a genuine thank you on depature was first class. all staff showed my family and friends such kindness and respect throughout.
i work in a hotel here in oxford and as you do (even in sad times) tend to watch whats going on. one person stood out and that was ginta the manager. her calmness her attention to detail her kindness was second to none. thank you from our hearts ginta.

Very pretty shepherds hut in a peaceful, rural location, excellent for exploring Lough Derg. Stefan and his family were delightful and very generously allowed us an early checkin and left a bowl of lovely fresh fruit and chocolate for our arrival .
Stefan and his family were so friendly and inviting. His wife baked homemade cookies on our first morning, which the children and us adults loved. They had fresh fruit and apple juice ready on arrival. The yurt was spotless and warm and had everything you could need. The fairy lights at night were beautiful. Would definitely return.
