The house was beautiful, interesting and quirky. James has created the perfect hideaway. My room was immaculate, it felt like stepping back in time while also having all the mod cons needed.
James was also good enough to get up early and make me a fantastic breakfast! 5 stars! Couldn’t rate highly enough!

John was a perfect host. Our room was spacious and getting a contintental breakfast was an extra bonus. And even better was the oldest Irish pub 2 doors away. Sean and his wife Liz are in their eighties and still run the pub.

Brielle House was absolutely spotless and incredibly comfortable, a really welcoming environment after a long trip. Really comfortable beds and lovely soft furnishing touches that make it feel like home. Hosts had even left biscuits and milk in the fridge, which we really appreciated! Lots of space for a family and excellent self-catering facilities. A quick walk to the shop and only a short drive to the motorway, so ideal location for Kildare Village, Japanese Gardens, and Rock of Dunamase.
A privilege to get the opportunity to stay in such a gem of a 1700-century Georgian house (described here https://theirishaesthete.com/2022/12/19/summergrove/).
Here you can get the feel of staying in a different century.
Very welcoming and attentive host.
Location - easy to find and very good for where we needed to be in order to visit family.
Hosts showed genuine concern about our comfort - also good knowledge about local embroidery museum.
Anne was so so helpful went out off her way to help us and allowed a very early book in so as we could freshen up b4 attending our function.. room was beautifully decorated and spotless ..
We stayed for one night only so it was great to have litre of fresh milk in fridge and some breakfast cereals, plenty tea/coffee and snack bars. Nice touch. Great space in house and also garden great for children. Its safe and private. Lovely welcoming hostess
the house was lovely, comfortable, clean and cosy. it’s in an ideal location, close to shops and the town.
it has all the amenities that we needed, we could come back at the end of the day and relax, the location is nice and quiet and there is good parking. Ann and the family are very welcoming and even left some essentials to start us off, we really appreciated that Ann’s husband had lit the fire for us, it took me back to my childhood visits in Ireland. loved it here.
This place is just perfect for families. The hosts are very nice and have great knowledge about local attractions and places to visit. Garden is huge and great for kids to play. Breakfasts were delicious and done according to our requests.
