Lovely appointed room with extremely comfortable bed. Beautiful house in extremely quiet and peaceful location . Simon is a particularly attentive host and went way beyond the call of duty to sort out a problem with my booking. Breakfast was excellent , served to us in our room . Unfortunately we had to leave too early and couldn’t explore the beautiful wild garden and woodland . Next time hopefully.
Thank you.

It seemed lovely only for I had money on two different cards and receptionist was ignorant and horrible and difficult so I did not bother staying very poor service
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The family house is beautiful with high ceilings, sash windows with natural coloured interiors. The surrounding land has been left to rewild and has a native wood with loop walks & yoga platforms for meditation.
Unusual spacious property with lovely furnishings. The host Ross was more than helpful and welcomed us and our dog. The location is in a wonderful heritage town with an exceptional local pub "Morrisey's" just a stroll away and a fine dining restaurant opposite. What more do you need?! We would love to return with all the family as Preston House has lots of communal space and character.
We travel with 2 toddler (2 years old and 9 months old). Very nice, and spacious room for parents with 2 toddler (2 travel cot). The bed very comfortable. The staff really helpful and friendly.
Lovely place run by a great couple. Really nice to get to know one of their children aswell as we had a 15 month old with us. Would definitely stay again.
Abbeyleix Manor has a fine premises; large entrance lobby with welcoming fire, a comfortable bar / restaurant and a large function room which we used for a meal following a family funeral.. It was a great venue..we took time over lunch as we remembered our loved one.
Mags who worked in the restaurant was very friendly and efficient.
