This is an outstanding Manor House, filled with character and charm. It has expansive beautiful gardens, that can be explored on foot or bicycle, available for free. Our room was an original and expansive and beautifully appointed with a marble fireplace and 4 poster bed. The picture windows gave an view over the sunken garden and beyond. What a romantic setting for a weekend escape, the staff were wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable about the estate and surrounding area. We were given great spots to visit in town to enjoy music and good food.
