Excellent food. Comfortable and spacious accommodation. Beautiful views. The gardens were a lovely bonus too - we enjoyed a walk around them before we left. The dinosaurs and rope bridge were great fun!

When we arrived we were completely overwhelmed by the House and Gardens. Our room was large and had a lovely view of the sea and gardens. The restaurant served Thai food for diner which we both love. If you like tree ferns and ferns the gardens are spectacular, running up a valley with streams and waterfalls. There are hundreds of tree ferns with areas for children to play.

Driving up to the house, it was stunning! Inside, a lot of the old furniture, artwork, and decor were breathtaking. The house had a calm, happy, inviting atmosphere. Staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, we had a vegetarian breakfast. I had a lovely chat with Penn. The view and gardens were simply beautiful! It was the best vacation in ages. There were 4 lovely, quiet cats which stayed outside of the house at all times. Joanie Mitchell and family

Brilliant location on the coast road, just a short drive to lovely beach in Kells - room had a sea view. Bar very handy and lucky enough to be there when local kids rehearse traditional Irish music. Jack was very friendly and helpful.

Our best hotel experience in Ireland! The place is exceptional, the huge gardens offer breathtaking views. The accommodation is carefully designed, the room elegant and comfortable. We were very well received and looked after. The Thai restaurant with its intimate setting is excellent, everything is homemade. The breakfast is also copious and qualitative. Ideal destination for a couple (but also for family with children). Thank you for this moment, we will return with pleasure!

Great house, perfect for 2 large families. Good size garden for kids to play in. Bbq on terrace overlooking bay was fabulous and we got the weather to enjoy it. Kells bay beach is a great, safe, sandy beach which is excellent to swim on and only 5 mins walk. Good location to explore Valentia, Skelligs and lots more without spending too much time in the car. Would happily go back and would recommend the house and area.
