Seaview Cottage Dugort Achill Island enjoys a location in Doogort, just 32 km from Ballycroy National Park and 4.3 km from Franciscan Monastery.

Fantastic location. Not too remote but not too built up either. The cottage has a lovely sea view and is very cosy. We needed the heating on some of the time to dry our wet clothes and the cottage is very warm and snug. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They made it clear they were there if we needed them.

We enjoyed everything whilst staying in the most stunning and unique B&B. My partner and I stayed in the spacious Roman themed room with a view for miles with a 10/10 for hospitality. Both hosts are really knowledgeable and friendly.

The homemade scones was beautiful and best I have tasted in a long time. Kids were delighted with the cereal and everything was clean. Loved the fact I could see the sea from the house and it was so close and restaurants and cafe within walking distance. Will be back .

I really enjoyed the B and B due to its ease of access, surrounded by nature and mountains. The family who run the B and B are very friendly, helpful and proud. They ensure their customers are well fed, the showers are hot and the beds comfortable.

Our host was welcoming and very helpful, offering to help us with our luggage. The smell of burning peat was wonderful and for my partner brought back childhood memories of staying with his granny. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The wardrobe in the room was reminiscent of the wardrobe in The Lion, the witch and the wardrobe and yes I checked the back just in case. If you are looking for somewhere to stay then I would recommend Creevagh.
