Everything! The whole stay was perfect. The rooms were immaculate and even had high end toiletries which is always a bonus. The best part of the stay though, was the staff. They were extremely attentive and polite. I accidentally dropped a glass of water and they immediately came over and cleaned it up and gave me a new jug and glass of water. It is the small things like that that can make a trip amazing.

The location of this hotel is second to none. It is in the perfect position to enjoy some of the most beautiful scenery in Wicklow, Ireland, and Europe. It can't fail to draw guests from far and wide and I think maybe this can be taken advantage of when it comes to the service it provides. It would take very little to restore it to its former welcoming atmosphere - a few little extras, an improved dining menu for vegetarians and vegans, some attention to the layout of (at least some of) the rooms. Don't go there expecting sumptuous luxury and you won't be disappointed. I don't want to write a negative review of this hotel which I was excited to visit having known it all my life. It was a disappointment.
