The lodge was just perfect. We were staying in ballina to do some falconry with friends and we absolutely loved our accommodation! It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and modern, and had everything that we needed! There's also a lovely seating area outside, free parking, and fantastic food in Dillons! The property has been in the same family for 13 generations and they have lovingly maintained it. We enjoyed learning about the history. The huge walled gardens, including a formal flower garden and an amazing organic vegetable garden are first-class. The food and wine were superb. We loved viewing Lough Conn out our bedroom window with Connemarra ponies grazing on the well-kept pastures in the foreground. All in all, an extremely comfortable, interesting, relaxing stay.
Una was amazing! I arrived with a 15 year old baby for the night. Una helped me with everything from setting up the travel cot to minding my son until I unpacked the car. She went above and beyond to accommodate us. If you are looking for the best of Irish hospitality and music (Una sings and plays the accordion!) together with amazing Mayo scenery, stay at this B&B.
