Refurbished in 2016, the Shandon Hotel & Spa is situated in the small village of Dunfanaghy and offers a wonderful views of the Sheephaven Bay and a luxury spa. All the rooms, the bar, the swimming pool, the relaxation room and the outdoor Canadian hot tub overlook the nearby bay, hills and countryside.

The hotel is situated in one of the most scenic parts of the northern coast of Ireland, and would be my unreserved recommendation for anyone in search of gorgeous sea views. The rooms are spacious and well appointed, airy and light. The bathrooms are modern and have a walk-in shower, and everything is sparkling clean. The food in both the bar and restaurant was good, the spa also offered everything you could ask for. And all in all a very pleasant stay.

Beautiful home sitting on a lovely site next to an equally beautiful lake. Rooms were spacious, neat, and provided every amenity you could want. Breakfast was truly a feast with an abundance of choices.
