The location was fabulous, central to everything and the train station was right next door to the hotel. .Our room was so spacious and the view was amazing and to top it all the cruise ships were docked right outside our window. Food was very good too and staff were so friendly and very helpful.. That was my 4th time there this year and can't wait to stay there again.. My husband and I have done many hotels in Ireland and all were lovely experiences but we both agree that Castlemartyr has been our best to date . The rooms especially was stunning and large very clean, so comfortable. I would highly recommend castlemartyer to anyone, couples & family friendly for a great 5 star treatment. Their staff are also are so proffesinal friendly and cordial and do a excellent job in maintaining the hotel to the level that it has become . We will definitely be back for a longer stay .

Great facilities on really lovely and well maintained grounds. There are multiple food options on site, and the village is a short walk away (although not up to much). We had a great, quiet, and comfortable room with good views over the golf course. The pool was great for kids, and the old bar area was a wonderful place for a quiet pint.
