Fran, our host, is the loveliest person you can meet. She's a people's person and she makes you feel at home. The view is just breathtaking, the room was very spacious and had all we could ask for. We had a really nice diner and if you chose to do as well, don't miss the cheese platter. Ask for advice on sightseeing, you'll want to follow the recommendations and you won't be disappointed.

Of all the places we stayed in Ireland, the Sneem Hotel had the loveliest grounds with a view of both mountains and an ocean cove. The room was beautiful and massive. Looking out the huge windows at the view of the mountains across the water was truly spectacular. The bathroom and amenities were modern and very luxurious. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was delicious and reasonably priced (especially for a resort!). It's only a short walk to Sneem, which was one of the best towns we saw on our trip through Kerry. I would highly recommend staying here.
