My dad, son and I had a wonderful stay in a spacious and spotless room that felt warm and homely—exactly what you'd hope for in a B&B. The host was incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home. Breakfast was outstanding, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten intolerance as someone with Celiac disease. Plenty of parking available too.

The location was excellent and very close to Bunratty. The reception staff must be commended for their friendliness, which gives a very good first impression of the hotel.

Great little apartment 15- 20 min drive from shannon airport which was great for our late night flight from our holiday, we were left. Cereals fresh bread with butter,fruit juice,milk and jams with coffee and tea which was great after a long late flight. 2 bathrooms which was great for us all rushing to get showered before we left in the morning.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
A wonderful welcome from Deirdre. So relaxed and accommodating, nothing was.a problem. The room was perfect for our needs, brilliant to be able to get our family of 5 into one room, which was clean, comfortable and spacious. The kids loved the trampoline and basketball hoop! They were also thrilled to be able to order what they wanted for breakfast, which was delicious. I could not recommend Avarest more, great location near the airport for our early flight, and near the main roads for getting around during our stay.
Deirdre was so welcoming and helpful and had great tips on where to go to get some good food. Very accommodating for families with more than 2 kids. Deirdre even took the time to chat to our kids which hasn’t happened too often in other places we’ve stayed. They barely get acknowledged but they felt included as part of our stay!
Breakfast was good with several options including fresh fruit and food cooked to order. Beds were super comfortable. We ate in a local pub which was family friendly with some live music. Shannon Airport was less than 20 minutes away.
The house was beautiful clean and comfortable with all the mod cons. Nothing was a problem for our host Caroline. We really enjoyed the space with had with 3 small children to run around when it was pouring rain outside.

When I arrived, Catherine greeted me and guided me to the cottage. The cottage was a beautiful suite, elegantly appointed with a stocked refrigerator, coffees, teas and juices. The table was beautifully set with breakfast rolls and cakes. The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom and shower were perfect. Catherine introduced me to her husband in the yard and both were so much fun to speak with. They made me feel like family... so welcoming! I would definitely book this again and stay longer than only one night.
