The property is child friendly.

Kevin and Maureen were exceptional hosts they made sure everything was set up for us and checked in with us via text to make sure everything was good. The house is ideally located close to the beach. Every room was very clean. All modern appliances in the kitchen in case you needed to cook. My favourite feature was in the cosy living room. There was a lovely seat where you could look out to the sea. The beds were very comfy with electric blankets. Our dogs had great space in the kitchen. I'm already looking forward to a return trip!!

Located in Achill Sound, 25 km from Rockfleet Castle, Óstán Oileán Acla provides accommodation with a shared lounge, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. The property is around 28 km from Ballycroy National Park, 43 km from Westport Train Station and 46 km from Clew Bay Heritage Centre. The accommodation features room service and free WiFi.

A truly enchanting stay! The location, nestled amidst sea and mountains, felt like a slice of heaven. The low-hanging clouds added drama to the breathtaking views. The staff were attentive, and breakfast was delightful. The charming bridge just outside was straight out of a fairytale! The photos on Booking site didn’t display the exterior views, which surprised me because that’s the main attraction of this place. I traveled to Achill Island Hotel from the Cliffs of Moher, and the drive through Galway and County Mayo was one of the most scenic routes I’ve experienced in Ireland. County Sligo offers a wealth of activities, making this hotel ideally situated between Mayo, Galway, and Sligo for exploring all these places in just two to three days.

Wild Atlantic Way Cottage is set in Achill and offers a private beach area and a terrace. This beachfront property offers access to a patio and free private parking.

The holiday home has 3 bedrooms, 1 of which is en suite, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, a dining room, an equipped kitchen with a dishwasher and a microwave, a washing machine, and 1 bathroom with a shower.

The property was perfect for our large family - spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. The location is ideal if you are looking for a remote getaway on the Wild Atlantic Way - literally on the edge of the world, overlooking the Atlantic. If you are looking for a hiking holiday, Achill is arguably one of the best places in Ireland with several breathtaking hikes all within its self-contained island boundaries. This house in Dooagh is ideally located for many of these, e.g. a 3 minute drive from the isolated beach on Keem Bay (see pic), from which you can hike to the spectacular Achill Head, Croaghaun (highest sea-cliffs in Europe - see pic) and the even more remote Saddle Head and Annagh Beach. It is literally a 2-minute walk across the road to Dooagh's rocky beach which has some of the best breakers on the island. There is a fireplace for a peat turf fire which Our host was amazing - answered all our questions and needs promptly, and was flexible with unexpected arrival delays. Because the house is locally-owned, her local knowledge was very helpful for shopping needs, "off-the-beaten-path" sights we'd have missed, etc. We would definitely go back here again!

We had a great stay with Anne. The B&B is beautifully decorated and in a perfect location. Anne was super friendly and gave us great dinner recommendations along with a gorgeous full irish breakfast the following morning. We will be reccomending Monastery View to all of our friends and family on their next trip to the beautiful Achill.

Lovely house, comfortable room and comfortable shared areas, attention to details - nice place to be. Owners very helpful, provided advices and local stories. Good location for a quiet stay, not far from all the attractions of Achill, but away from noise. Breakfast was also a positive experience, like a family event. As a bonus - we got a room with bath, so we could organise ourselves an Achill seaweed bath.

Just back from three nights at the Achill Lodge Guest House. 2adults + 3kids. We had our own self contained unit to the side, two entrances, three bedroom with a private W.c in each room and then a separate tv room, with cooler fridge and table and chairs. The hosts very friendly, very informative. Breakfast room lovely setting with superb views. Breakfast itself 5star. The location central to the island.

The family suite on third floor was huge and had private access via a balcony as well as access internally. Really comfortable mattress and great shower. Real shampoo and shower gel provided as well as water in rooms. There was a radio/cd player as well as TV. No kettle in room but no bother as you were able to access kitchen on second floor. Breakfast was superb - quality and choice great. I think this was first time I’ve ever ate all of my breakfast. Family run business and it shows in the service they provide

Our family (including small children) spent 2 nights at Achill Lodge. It more than met our expectations with its old world charm and hospitality. We stayed in the self contained annex where we had 3 bedrooms and a living/dining room to ourselves. The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. The breakfast was superb and huge! Great value for money. Would definitely return.
