We attended a wedding the food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. I will come back again again.

Pearl was an exceptional host and made us feel very much at home. Her home is beautiful so couldn’t fault a thing. The breakfast was delicious especially the homemade bread and scones. Idilic peaceful country setting. Pearl’s garden is magnificent and so colourful.

Everything, if I could give it 10 stars I would, property is pristine inside and out, amazing warm and really comfortable space. Sinead was there when we arrived, house was stocked with bread,milk, tea/ coffee, cereals and water and more. Sinead went above and beyond to make it a home away from home.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel for 2 nights. The beds were super comfy, and we slept soundly without any disturbances. Plus, the food at the restaurant was delicious.

I had a lovely stay ,... i use a walking stick , there is no lift and the car park has space for max 4 cars. You can park on the street, and i got a space right outside the door . Keep a low expectation and all will be good.

We loved how close the home are to the lake, my husbandand kids very much enjoyed fishing. Ingor, the host was incredibly helpful with advice about the local area and anything we needed for our stay. Being pet friendly was an added bonus as our dog Eddie had a great time and we didn't have the guilt of having to leave him at home.
The hosts are incredibly helpful from booking right up until your stay. The lodge was perfect for us, very well equipped, spacious, and in a beautiful location. Such a peaceful area and perfect for us to use as a base to explore. My family, dog and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

My stay at Hawthorn Lodge was like home from home. Pauline made me so welcome. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. There was so many little touches and attention to detail that made my stay so perfect. The breakfast was delicious and so fresh. Huge compliments and thanks to the family for their hard work and efforts.
The house is lovely big very nice in side just loved staying there and kids loved the upstairs

This is overlooking the lake and has a massive garden very dog friendly and kid friendly, the lakes not too far away, and only a couple of km to the next town Beltourbet.
The facilities were excellent, great amount of space in the lodge, scenery is beautiful and it's quiet, away from the road. Booking was very straightforward and owner very helpful. Lovely place to stay the week with the family and visit the area. Very different and well kitted out, with plenty of room for the kids.
