Set in Ballina, within 16 km of Mayo North Heritage Centre and 16 km of Foxford Woolen Mills Visitor Centre, Heyday Hostel Ballina features accommodation with free WiFi. The property is around 27 km from Martin Sheridan Monument, 33 km from National Museum of Ireland - Country Life and 35 km from Kiltimagh Museum. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge for guests.

The place is completely spotless, not a scuff mark on it. The economy double twin bunks room is a bit small, but it's functional, clean and exceptionally well-maintained. The ensuite bathroom's shower was bigger than I expected too. The social area is large and comfortable, and the kitchen is immaculate.

Discreetly off the main road away from traffic. Very friendly staff, nice bar food. Plenty of car parking. Family friendly. They had no fans in the bedroom or hotel and when i asked for one, they went one errand to the shops to buy me a state of the art one. Very happy.

The family rooms were very spacious. I have 3 young kids and the staff provided a cot bed on our arrival . They bedrooms are very airy and we had lots of room for a family of 5. The staff were so accomodationing. The kids loved it. The pool was ideal for young famililes and the temperature of the water in the pool was lovely and warm. They even had a kids club. Would definately recommend this hotel for families. Very reasonable.
