The location was superb, the weather was gorgeous, food was good (if a little pricey). Access to swimming is second to none. We liked the balcony very much too.

We were welcomed with an upgrade to a four poster room with a sea view, which was so special with it being our last night in Ireland.
The character of the hotel was beautiful and each room decorated beautifully. Staff were so helpful and friendly.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Waterford Castle Hotel Lodges. The staff were immensely friendly and helpful at the Waterford Castle Hotel when we checked in. The lodge accommodation is extremely spacious and has all the amenities you need for a very enjoyable stay, including spacious rooms, hair dryers, oven, fridge, indoor and outdoor seating areas and a microwave and toaster. We arrived with minimal supplies as we booked it quite late and there was instant coffee and milk in the fridge when we arrived. We grabbed takeaways from the clubhouse, which were great. The setting is absolutely beautiful with deer, birds, badgers, foxes and other wildlife including a wallaby. It was also quite thrilling having to use the ferry to get to the lodge.
