The host family was extremely kind and helpful. We arrived very late and they left everything ready for us so that we could go to sleep at once when we reached the house. And they surprised us with fresh eggs from their own chicken (they were delicious).

One of the most breathtaking properties I have stayed at. The history, gardens and the villa itself is a very special experience. Stylish, comfortable, generous in its amenities. Wonderful restaurant on the grounds too. Truly magical.

We were a family of 8 adults and 5 children aged 11 9 6 5 and 2. The farm was great for children there was a room with toys and games that suited all ages which was a bonus to keep them amused. Breakfast was amazing and Mary couldn't do enough for us. She went above and beyond.

Mary is a wonderful host, she made sure we are comfortable and happy. House is fully equipped, we had really lovely stay. It was quite there, really nice view from the windows, my kids loved the cows and they saw wild rabbits 😉 We stayed in the lodge house, it was really clean, perfect for families or couples. Around are lots of attractions within 30-40 mins drive for kids but adults too. We need to book full week stay, because 3 nights were not enough 😉💗

This was awful. We were so disappointed. It should not be on booking.com as a b&b. The house had long term tenants with small children.

Perfect for us as a family of four with a toddler, was as exactly as described, very local and just a stones throw from anywhere you wanna walk, the river, the castles, museum, park and lidl and supervalue as well as lovely local shops. Was more comfortable than a big hotel as felt like a little home away from home. Breakfast is self service but was plenty to choose from.
