We absolutely loved everything about this charming lil hostel <3 The lounge space is super chill, includes a small pool with an open roof, lots of greenery, and plenty of relaxing spots. The location is within walking distance of the palace and everything we were interested in checking out, as well as some cheap dining options. The design is awesome and we loved the open concept of the bathroom area in our private room. Asep, the host, was so thoughtful and took such good care of us, making us fresh/tasty breakfasts and even hooking us up with some surprise treats along the way. We booked a deluxe and a minimalist room. But to our suprises, our deluxe room was upgraded WITH NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. Upon arrival, we had not much trouble finding the place. Externally, the place does not scream hotel/B&B/homestay/etc.. It look like an ordinary family house and it feels like it too. Checking in is a smooth sail. Just provide your credentials, read the fine prints and some signing without even realise, you already lying on the thick and comfortable queen size bed. Each morning we get to taste different kind of breakfast usually had by the locals, since we are of same root (asian) it makes us feels at home. The family is always around and available. We can get recommendations and insights of what, where, who, when and how to our planned activities and services like laundry, convinience stores and eateries.

The hotel is an historic home of a prince and is very beautiful. Great restaurant on the grounds and several great places to eat on the same block. The Mongo chocolate shop is delicious and directly in front of the hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful in arranging day trips.
