We liked everything, starting from owners, they were so nice and wonderful people! Took a really good care of us. Property was clean, beautiful and comfortable. It was easy to reach everything with scooter (all popular beaches and temples in the area). They also rent scooter there. Breakfast was good, tv worked well, best experience and high recommendations from us! We even had small fish pool outside, which was very cool! It’s not like apartment, it’s more like private villa, because you stay with no people around over the gates.

Sawah Indah is on a long skinny block going back from the road. The restaurant and reception are first then the rooms range back and up the hill with curving paths leading to the rooms. The bungalow rooms are the furthest away from the road.
The gardens are lovely and well maintained.
We had a one bedroom bungalow room and it was great. It was a wooden construction, with a thatch roof. It had two rooms, bedroom and bathroom with the bedroom looking out the covered verandah which was so large, it really counted as a second room, especially as it had a two seater lounge and a couple of armchairs plus a coffee table. It was fully covered so no rain got in. Lovely view across the paddies to the distant mountains. I had asked for a quiet room and we were given one right up the back, away from the other rooms. The other rooms all looked nice, and all seemed to have varying designs and layouts.
Bed was king-sized with mosquito nets and there was a bar fridge and a cupboard for luggage plus some seating.
The bathroom was huge with double sinks, a full-sized concrete bath and two showers, one outdoors.
They actually had a clock on the wall, which was really handy to have.
The pool was nice and cool. only a few loungers right next to it but there was also another level below it with more loungers.
The restaurant was really good - a large range of items, very well presented, tasty and reasonably priced.
The weather was lovely and cool, which was a relief after a few days in Amed.

One of the friendliest families I have lived with in Bali. Delicious breakfast and you can order dinner in addition which is unreal. It feels like heaven!
Extremely quiet, with magnificent view, the swimming pool is awesome, the villa is very spacious (large rooms, big bed, sofa bed, large terrace with kitchen and cosy outdoor lounge bed) and intimate, no vis-a-vis. Indoor/outdoor living at its best.
Of course the personnel is very warm and gentle.
We loved it and the children loved it (3 and 7yo).
Wayan, Ari and their families are the most charming, kind and knowledgeable hosts you could ask for. Their place is very comfortable, and the family atmosphere is wonderful.
The guy that owns this place and his family work very hard to help the guests and make sure we have everything we need. They drove us to dinner, shared their barbecue with us, arranged snorkelling, took us to the ferry and more. The hostel part and the pool are very new and the beds have a light & power outlet.

Great ocean views, close to restaurants, nice pool with views. Rooms are very comfortable with side by side family rooms available with a shared balcony but not internal room access.
If you need to spend the night 1-2 nights, this is more than a budget option. I liked that the guys immediately returned the money to me, as I mistakenly paid for a week, and I was supposed to stay for a day! Thank them more. We fed breakfast, the child got pancakes as a bonus, just like that :) Thanks again!
The most loving, caring and including family. Thank you for sharing history and giving so much back to your own community. This was for us the real Bali. Food was amazing and so was our stay. It's so beautiful to just walk around; rice fields, nature, jungle. There are also lots of activities to do as rafting, hiking, elephants, waterfalls etc,, . For people that are craving the real Bali in a place that is still is virgin.
