We really recommend it to everybody: Agus and his family will welcome you as part of the community. Breakfast prepared by Agus’ wife was delicious: we’re a vegan couple and they didn’t hesitate to give us traditional food, but in the vegan version.
Agus brought us around the village, showing real batik art and factory, explaining how the life in a small village works. You can have interesting conversations with him and enrich your point of view about many aspects.
Here it’s possible to rent a motorcycle and arrange for some tours at a reasonable price.

Rooms are spacious and scenery / views are absolutely stunning and unmatched. We had massages which were incredible and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend stopping off here.

Staff was very friendly, the hotel is in a remote place but the surrounding landscape is beautiful. Perfect to stay 1 or 2 nights while going to mount ijen. Rooms are modern and clean, food was quite ok as well.
