The location right on the water was beautiful and kept in excellent condition, the diving was great and Claudia was an excellent guide.. the staff were so helpful in helping me organise flights out of Maumere. Because of the erupting volcano the airport is frequently closed and Claudia went out of her way to make my travels as smooth as possible

We arrived a few days later than we booked because of cancelled flight but Hendrik was really flexible .Great location, food in the restaurant is good and staff always here to help. They were as well supporting in organising da trips. Definitely recommend it. We really enjoyed the open air bathroom too.

I had a very pleasant stay in Lena House. The beach bungalows are very clean and cosy. The area is quite remote so very calm at night. Ideal for travelers who want to avoid the city and disconnect. There is a very nice dive shop located close by. The staff is very helpful and allow you to rent scooters to cross Flores to Labuan Bajo without needing to return.

This is a nice spot to spend a couple of days. The beach is metres away. Swimming is possible and safe. Local life goes on as if there were no tourists. You can watch the fishermen from your balcony. The restaurant food is quite good and affordable. Bring mosquito lotion and keep your food away from the ants which are prolific.
The most amazing thing here was the beautiful coral reef just off the beach.The beach was shady and safe for children.Every day there was a lovely cool breeze from the sea.
The cottages are simple but comfortable, with good mattresses and mosquito nets, although there were not many mosquitoes and right on the beach.
The food can only be described as fabulous. Fresh fish every day if you want from the fishermen out the front.Aldi and Santi deliver beautifully decorated and tasty food.
I can't rate our stay at the Sleepy Lagoon highly enough. It was a wonderful month, in a stunning location, with friendly /lovely hosts and neighbours. The house is beautiful, we could throw open the doors every morning to see the beach and bay in the sun through the coconut trees. Fredh and his family looked after us helping us with local insight, organising boating trips, renting motorbikes and guiding us up Mt Egon. We are already planning how we can come back. I spent one night at Lena House after doing the Trans Flores from Labuan Bajo where I had rented a scooter. The scooter belonged to the guesthouse that's how I got to Lena House. the place is very nice, quiet. the bungalow is new large facing the sea. The food is excellent. In the neighborhood there are fishermen who bring in fresh fish. children play on the beach. This is the warm welcoming Indonesia far from mass tourism. A beautiful address. I regret staying only one night. I highly recommend
