I stayed at Bunaken 18 Dive Resort and Cafe from 16 to 21 September, and it was an incredible experience! Oscar, the owner, provided fantastic service, ensuring that every detail was taken care of. The location of the resort is perfect, and the breakfast was generous and delicious. The rooms are clean, new, and comfortable, making it a relaxing place to stay after a day of diving. After spending already two weeks in indonesia we had our best time at Heiner Homestay with Ope, Olga and their lovely kids. They not only served us delicious food, they also helped us with guidance and information about activities. Snorcheling and dolphin tour with Ope was an incredible experience. We also did diving trips with staff from the location. We never dove before, but felt in good hands and first recieved training.

We give 10 in all categories because this lovely guest house is like to be at home...far away of home. Stephen and his family makes everything in order that you feel happy and enjoy Bunaken. And his aunt is (imho) the best cooker that que found in all Sulawesi after three weeks travelling. Each fish at lunch and dinner has been special and tasty. Terima kashi!
The location was fantastic! Snorkelling right off the beach onto a coral reef 👌. As beginners to diving, we did several dives and felt very safe with the dive instructors. All equipment was in very good condition and checked regularly. And of course the diving itself was out of this world! Turtles galore. The staff are what truly made our stay perfect. The kitchen staff are amazing and handled my coeliac diet with ease, and they are amazing fun!
The food was amazing and the best we had so far on Sulawesi! The guesthouse is perfectly located, the family/owners super helpful and kind and the overall value for money is great. Would recommend everyone staying here!
We spent five nights at El Homestay as a group of four friends. Before arriving in Bunaken, I thought it would be too much time there, but once we arrived at El Homestay, we didn't want to leave.... It has been amazing staying here and experiencing Bunaken. There is a lot to do: snorkeling, diving, dolphins, sandbank, mangroves, visiting Siladen Island, hiking, renting a motorbike, and visiting the viewpoint. We can't wait to be back next year. Awesome stay! The family who runs the guesthouse were so warm hearting. Every meal was fresh and delicious. You can feel that they run the guesthouse with passion. Highly recommended.

A lovely stay, Siladen really is a dream for those who like snorkeling, and at this particular hotel the house reef is incredible, suitable even for children and teenagers! The hotel was very attractive, the rooms great, and the food was super tasty. On a short break from Singapore, it was THE best, I will be back!
The whole crew is so friendly, funny and helpful, we really felt like staying at a families place 👍🏻 Olivia takes care of everything.
Also the food is absolutely delicious. Top spots for diving are very close and Sven is a great dive guide. This is definitely the place to be at Bunaken!
