K2 Lembeh Dive Resort features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Bitung. Featuring room service, this property also provides guests with a barbecue. The air-conditioned rooms provide a mountain view and come with a desk and free WiFi.

We had an excellent 7 night stay at K2 Lembeh. The owner and the staff are outstanding. Sharon, the owner, communicated in a timely manner, answering all questions before we arrived, and then helping with arrangements during our stay via WhatsApp. Irra, who is in charge of the house and restaurant staff, was efficient and conscientious and very kind. She took care of all the details and even arranged for me to accompany her on a shopping trip to a huge market in Bitung on a day I was not able to dive. It is one of my trip highlights. Man, who is in charge of overall operations, and the dive experience, could not have been any more helpful. From arranging the details of our transportation, to taking me, after hours, into Bitung to see a doctor for an ear infection (he made the appointment, guided me to it, and stayed with me to help me figure out what was needed), to directing our dives, he always went above and beyond. You can tell that he takes pride in the operation and is very conscientious about making each guest’s stay a good experience. Fiki, our dive guide, was one of the best I have had. He was excellent at finding all those cool Lembeh Strait critters, and I also always felt very safe diving with him as he was always aware of us in the water, and was encouraging and thoughtful to me, a still slightly uncomfortable diver. The food was delicious—lots of local dishes, lots of vegetables and fresh fish. It is served as a buffet in an open area with a stunning view down the hill and to the Strait. There are a lot of steep stairs up to the dining area, but we did not mind them. The guests shared a table for meals which I really liked, as we met so many interesting travelers. The cabins are spacious, with a deck and a fine view, AC that works well, and your own carboy of water, with both hot and cold-water options.

The staff is amazing! They are located on the doorstep of Tangkoko Nature Reserve. We had the pleasure of having Aceh as our tour guide and she certainly did not disappoint. She must have animal radar or something because she constantly saw things we would have passed by! Her knowledge and excitement was the perfect combination! Thanks for making our trip there awesome! The room is large and has ac! We’re not sure what else it could have had to make it any more perfect. The cooks in the kitchen were incredibly polite, always smiling and always whipping up a delicious meal! Alfret made sure our stay was superb. From the constant communication before we arrived, to checking everyday to make sure we were having fun, to recommending ideas for our “free” days he could not have done better! I highly recommend this place to anyone headed out towards Tangkoko!

I booked my trip in a rush, hoping to make a once in a lifetime visit to Sulawesi. I hadn't done much research, so it wasn't until I arrived in Lembeh that I realised I was far away from the famous Bunaken and could only do muck diving in Lembeh. The muck diving was PHENOMANAL for anyone wanting to see tiny stuff. However meeting other guests who had the foresight of booking the Manado and Lembeh sister resorts, I felt a bit embarrassed and a whole load of FOMO for coming to Sulawesi and not seeing Bunaken. I spoke to the management at Lembeh and they went away with my thoughts and after a day came back to confirm they had secured me a room and transfer at the sister resort in Manado and i would be able to continue my diving in Bunaken - and yes it was worth it, the coral walls and the turtles made it all worthwhile. The staff were attentive and lovely at both resorts. The dive guides in Mando were very mature and excellent. The food was great and the atmosphere between guests was excellent. I had a fab time as a solo traveller at both Thalassa resorts.

The homestay is run by a family who has been working with the community to protect wildlife in Tangkoko National Park. The nature guide is knowledgeable about the animals. I would love to be back again!

Where to start? This is a such an energetic, knowledgeable and multitasking family that does everything: guiding, taxiing, tailor made day tours to the mountains and volcano, diving, cooking (amazing food), singing (Eno has such a good voice) and creating new opportunities for their communities and the ones further afield. And to round it all off they do care, consider and work towards conservation not only in what they do but through educating the next generation. Can’t beat it and we ll see you again next time. The family room is very large and quietly located in the garden. The toilet and sink are separate, which we find very practical. Alfred and his team are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant has a small menu, but all dishes are exceptionally tasty and suitable for vegetarians too. The tours in the park were fantastic, we were able to observe many animals.

I loved the location, the food and the overall infrastructure. The early morning hike guides were really great. They were very knowledgeable, had big and powerful binoculars so we could observe the animals very well and even take pictures with our phones. The laundry service wast excellent and very affordable!

The garden villa is perfect for a family of 4. A lot of space and a huge bathroom with shower and bath tube. Ana and all the staff were amazingly kind and welcoming and helped us with literally everything they could. The food was spectacular and we had a great experience with the tours too. We saw the black monkeys, couscous and the Tarsius.

The place is okay. The rooms are very simple but spacious. The bathroom is basic but functioning. The hotel staff, including the guides, which seem to work at the hotel, are very helpful and provide lots of information. The restaurant is literally bright green and pink but the food is good.

Nice location in a garden across the street from their restaurant. Friendly owner family, nice tour guide which was organised trough the Tangkoko Ranger Homestay and you can start the tour directly from there. They also can arrange you a driver back to Manado which is double prise, but there is basically no other options, because it's hard to find a grab out there. You can take the public bus to the next town and then get a grab from there, which is cheaper but takes way longer.

A perfect stay for your adventures in Tangkoko. Foods are delicious. They have the most affordable and transparent fee for guides! It's worth considering ;) We also got the biggest room, although we booked for a smaller one. The location is just at the entrance of the national park. They also helped us to move to another location nearby for free. Definitely five stars for service!
