We had a lovely stay in the small but cozy bungalow. It had everything you need and was very modern. It also had free Instant Ramen. The view was amazing and the location is beautiful and calm. There aren't many tourists at the lake, which is a nice change compared to the rest of Bali. On the other hand it's a little hard to get to the Hotspots, but you can rent a scooter at the Warung Makan, which the host recommended and is a great food spot also!
The owner of Ginastro Hom is also very kind and helpful, he made a bonfire for us both nights we were there, which was a nice experience.

There is no better place for a family vacation- wish I stayed longer! Fantastic space with stunning lake and mountain views- not far from main road or convenience stores by car. You can go kayaking in the morning nearby!

Amazing location, country side retreat. Super food and great staff. Had a lot of fun flying the self-made kites, cooking class and renting a scooter to go to the waterfalls.

Everything was just perfect! The garden is a paradise and the people are fantastic. They are so kind, fun and helpful, without being pushy. In 6 weeks of travelling through Indonesia, this hotel is my favorite.

Lovely property and beautiful rooms. It is off the beaten track a little so you need to get cars to get anywhere else but it's very serene and great for relaxing. Staff were great, organised kids bikes for us and day trip driver.

The host is very gracious, he welcomed us and showed us the facility. His staff cooked lovely local dishes for breakfast and dinner and they even dropped us to the hot springs free of charge.
There is a new heated pool and it looks like they are building a spa as well.
The host is also a mountain guide for Mt Batur so he can take you up there for the sunset. He is also a school teacher at the local school so he can speak good English.
This accommodation is an excellent affordable option.
We felt like we had the whole resort to ourselves even though there were other guests because he resort's lay out is so well done, so that we felt we're here on our own. It is so peaceful and the gardens are gorgeous. The staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely DELICIOUS! Our kids loved feeding the big fish in the ponds. We also enjoyed the short walk to the stunning waterfalls in the jungle nearby. We thourougly enjoyed our stay here. It was wonderful. The perfect place to family stay. The pool was perfect temperature too.

Special mention to Wang and team who is extremely sweet and friendly who made our stay more comfortable and fun. Wang helped us arrange bonfire, played guitar and sang for us, played with my 1 yr old, took care of my old family members, helped us cook etc etc.
I can’t even describe the hospitality of this family by words. They are so nice! The place is very basic, balinese style. The owner arranged massage for us, took us to the temple for ceremony, coffee plantation (must visit) and some other actvities! Very nice experience!
We are a family of 5 and stayed with Eddie and his family for one night. Couldn't have had a better experience. Gorgeous view, well situated close to Mt. Batur. We had dinner there, breakfast the next morning and Eddie arranged our hike up Mt. Batur. Quiet, clean, exceptionally delicious food, good company with another couple staying there, great fun to talk with Eddie and his family, couldn't have asked for a better experience. Would highly recommend.
