The property, which has been nicely restored, is in Palkonya, a small village between Pecs and Villany. Pecs is a city, Villany is a famous wine village, but has been spoilt by tourism: Palkonya has not been spoilt, but the downside to that is that it has few facilities.
Balazs is an excellent host, a really friendly guy, he has some great wines in his cellar (he works for a well known winery in Villany during the day) and he speaks excellent English. His staff only speak Hungarian - not a problem for me.
The accomodation would suit a couple perfectly (I was alone), it was comfortable and spotlessly clean.
The place is called "bisztro" but only serves evening meals at weekends, so either make some arrangement with Balazs, or eat before you arrive. There is a restaurant in the village, but it is not open Monday - Wednesday.
I stayed 2 nights, breakfast each morning was phenomenal !!! and was served by a lovely lady.
There is some nice walking to be done in the area - I walked through the hills to Villany, about 13km, luckily the path took me past the Vylyan (4.5km) and Sauska (11km) wineries :) Vylyan served me a glass of wine at 10:30 (!) in the morning, and I had a nice lunchtime snack at Sauska, along with a glass.
There is a bus service from Villany and/ or Pecs, so you can drink some wine in either place if you wish (the Hungarian drink/ drive limit is zero, if you didn't know). There is also a charming train service. Google maps will give you the times of trains and buses.
Will I go back ? I hope so !!

We made reservations so we can be near Villany, our plan was to go to Fran&Franc, but we wanted a quiet place to rest and enjoy the evening. The train station was just in front of us, the house was very tidy and cute, the master room very comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect to cook. Bathroom very very clean, from my point of view, the place is ourstanding
