The owner is very friendly, speaks a bit English, checked in very late without problems. There is a shared bathroom but it was not a problem for us. I recommend the host, gave us bread for kids as the shops were already closed, made good coffee for breakfast - and thank you again!

Set in a former aristocratic mansion dating from the 17th century, Oroszlános Borvendéglő és Borhotel in Tállya houses an à la carte restaurant with typical Hungarian dishes from the area. The on-site wellness area includes a hot tub as well as an infrared and Finnish sauna.

The room was clean and the beds confortable. The wellness part is a nice addition to get warmed-up in the sauna. The staff was very kind and they helped with all our questions, request. The wines are excellent. The breakfast had a great variety to chose from; freshly made scrambled eggs, frankfurters, sweet things, fruits. We will definitely come back.
