Showers and washrooms are good. Place is safe. Dogs are very well behaved. Great location, close to the market and main square.

We came here and immediately fell in love with this place! Everybody is exceptionally friendly, the restaurant stuff is super attentive. The lady who runs the place is such a sweetheart and you can tell that the personnel likes working here. The garden is fantastic and so is the setting. Try the free kayaks. It’s captivating to explore the Lake on your own.

The terrace has a beautiful view of the lake! The room was comfortable and clean and there is hot water in the shower. Filtered drinking water was provided. The food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced (try the empanadas!). The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Two parking spots are available underneath so it is first in, best dressed. It was a very peaceful place to stay, we absolutely loved it!

The food we had was good but the coffee was extremely weak. The cappuccino was very good but overpriced for a tiny cup. Staff was friendly and the view from the room was lovely.

As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
The kitchen is so well equipped, my food finally tasted like something again! I enjoyed the feeling of the big communal living room, and when people cooked traditional Guatemalan food, I got a bite :) The hostel itself is nice, and I was glad to have an affordable private room.
Marcelino and his family are wonderful, and work hard to keep the place running meticulously. Location is great, you have a view of the volcanoes and the lake. Very pleasant 15-20m walk to the town, or you can take a tuk tuk. Nice swimming beach 2 minutes walk away. Overall very good.
The grounds of the hotel are lovely; the staff are kind and friendly. The office staff were helpful and clear. The pool was clean and enjoyable. The available kayaks were fun to use. The room was clean and comfortable with a HOT shower. The food was delicious and presented well, classic Guatemalan fare with an upscale presentation. The whole experience was delightful respite and a beautiful way to experience San Lucas Toliman.
