An impeccably restored house, just across are an old bridge and the village church that gives an air of a fairy tale to the location. The house has a terrace-bar with an elegant and friendly atmosphere (no noise is heard in the rooms). The rooms are luxurious and looks like beeing decorated by an interior designer. The hosts Marina and Apostole are very friendly and helpful and Marina speaks a very good English. In the morning because we didn't have time for breakfast, she prepared two delicious coffees for us to take on the way (they have a very good espresso machine and a coffee as well). The young woman at the reception recommended a restaurant for dinner at a distance of 10 minutes on foot, Bostani, the only gourmet restaurant in the Kavala area - it is advisable to make a reservation in the evening. In conclusion, it's an accommodation not to be missed if you arrive in the area, in the morning we took 20-25 minutes by car to Kavala port, I regret not being able to stay longer, you can go hiking in the area, and the village is worth visiting.

Orfanihouse, a place where we left a part of our hearts! This home gave us such authentic greek experience, from the house interiors to the outside space! The house comes fully equipped with everything you might need and even more! We were amazed of the details Maria thought of when preparing the house for our arrival! Also, the beds in the two bedrooms are really comfortable and the place was extremely clean! Being located in a small, coquette village very close to the seaside, Orfanihouse offers everything you need for a perfect holiday! Down the street you have a well stocked store with fresh products and a great tavern. The neighbors are so friendly and welcoming! All those little things mentioned above made us feel less of a tourist and more like we belong there! Maria, our host, is the sweetest person! Everything she does, she does with passion and you can see that from the way she prepares the house to the way that she made us feel the entire holiday! We knew we can give her a call for everything we needed - something we forgot and wanted to ask again, an advice, a recommendation… In conclusion, we highly recommend Orfanihouse!♥️ It felt like home, and Maria felt like family! We stayed only one night in early September. The apartment was big, clean and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. Mosquito nets on every door. Plenty of dishes and cups. Coffee machine to use, as well as some coffee and creamer. Communication with the host and check-in was easy. A 10+minute walk from the beach and hustle and bustle of all the restaurants.
