Highly recommended. Beautiful, peaceful location with views towards the lake. Because of the name I had expected it to be large and impersonal, but it is a small complex and it was like staying with friends; a huge thank you to Vaggelis for making us feel at home. I hope that I will be able to return.

Located right next to Prespes Lakes, Villa Platythea is a traditionally built complex featuring spa and wellness facilities, an outdoor pool and a poolside snack bar. Its studios and apartments enjoy views over the lakes, the pool or the surrounding mountains.

The property was rustic but with character, and our host Vagelis went out of his way to be helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, lounges and beds comfortable. The location was also good, an easy stepping-off point for all activities on the Prespa Lakes. There were some very interesting sculptures around the property and bountiful birdlife.
Agios Germanos (Near Platy)

Psarades (Near Platy)
Housed in a 19th-century building, Philippos Hotel is just 40 metres from the shore of Megali Prespa, in the traditional village of Psarades. It offers warmly decorated accommodation and a games room.
Fitted with wooden floors and ceilings, all rooms open to a balcony with views of the village and the mountains. Each includes a TV, mini fridge and kettle. The private bathroom comes with a bathtub or shower and hairdryer.

The Host was amazing, just super chilled and a genuinely nice person who prepared us a dinner when we arrived late (9pm) and made me hot cup of mountain tea for my flu. Food was amazing in her restaurant, fresh ingredients and so tasty. Definitely stay again if I come back
